Lifetime license?

Sorry for the rather basic question, but I am a long-time Linux user here with no experience with iOS or any sort of app stores.

So if I buy the $599 pro version with the "one-time purchase" option, I have guaranteed access to the software for life? Will I be able to use the software offline? Is there anything that would stop me from using the software if I don't connect the device to the internet after installation? I am thinking of buying an Apple device just to run this software, so I want to make sure that this is something I can rely on.

daniel Yes, with a purchase of the pro version you get perpetual access to pianoscope. You can use it offline and don't need the internet after the installation.
