I have recently started using the Pianoscope pitch raise function in a different way. I usually do a quick pass through the whole piano for a pitch raise, and then go through it again on the normal tuning mode to fine tune everything.
However, I've put a lot of focus on doing all my unisons by ear last year. I was assisting tuning all the pianos at a local college last week and tried using the pitch raise to tune one unison and then match the remaining unisons. With the algorithm working well, and my good (IMO) unisons, I was able to pitch raise the piano in one pass! All the final notes were within one cent of optimal tuning, so it sufficed for that job.
Finally my question: is there a setting to center the logarithmic scale of the tuning bar around the pitch raise yellow triangles? It appears to be a linear scale. This would really help my new method of one-pass pitch raises. I feel like I saw this in a 3.0 preview, or an instructional video, but now I don't remember. Thanks!
