I was using the latest beta version of Pianoscope which ended on 3/11 and noticed that when the app is in stepwise mode, note switching doesn't work for the lowest 3 keys A0, A#0, and B0. In auto mode, the feature works for those notes, so the issue is only in the stepwise mode.
