Scott The red color indicates a selection. If you select a certain partial, the label in the top right corner will give you its inharmonic offset: a value in cents telling how far away the selected partial is from a harmonic partial with the same number. If you activate the sound generator and select a partial, the sound generator will play only the selected partial. Tapping anywhere in the empty space in the partial area will clear the selection.
