I have an iPhone 8, which uses iOS 16 and thus won't run some of the new features in Pianoscope ver 4. I might upgrade to a newer phone or an iPad to use these features (especially the muteless pitchraise), probably a used one. I understand that PS-4 requires at least iOS 18.
My question-- I'm trying to save money. If I were to upgrade to a used device running iOS 18, (or another iOS version) is it possible that future PS upgrades will eventually not run on that, and I would have to get yet another device? What's the minimum iOS version I should consider to prevent this in the future? Or is that something only time will tell?
