Bass offsets

When looking at notes when tuning there is an offset for the pitch minus in the bass an plus in the treble. How does the bass offset for the lowest notes relate to the pitch as the first (and some higher) partial does not exist?

Rick I am still working on improving the responsiveness for tuning with rapid strikes in the treble. I will release another beta build in the next days.

If the first partial is not present in the spectrum, it is extrapolated from the inharmonicity derived from the measured partials. This estimation is only done for providing an easily presentable reference point for communicating the pitch. It has no effect on the tuning curve for the real partials.
