Reset

When I opened pianoscope on Sunday I found it had reset itself. All tuning files and calibration OK but no headers, piano keyboard showing and indicator settings to default. Puzzled??

This is very strange indeed. Did you update pianoscope recently or installed a beta version or update the operating system?

No to all. It happened once before

It happened again. Brief message that said “free viewer” or something similar. Went away suddenly. Headers gone, keyboard appeared etc. All working normally now after changing to my settings. ????

Rick I am sorry, this is not good. I will look deeper into this. Can you remember having made any settings change before this happened?

Hi Rick, I think you have problem with your devices. Make a factory reset. May be helped.

Factory reset sounds a bit drastic. There must be another way.

Could it be an out of storage space issue, either on the local device or in the cloud?

iPhone 14 Pro 91GB free storage. iCloud 27 GB of 50GB used.
Not that then.

try a clean install of Pianoscope (do an uninstall and then install) This often helps too.

I doubt it has something to do with free storage. I think I have found a condition that can lead to a reset of the tune view settings. It is connected to the licensing system not telling pianoscope in time that the pro version is licensed and therefore pianoscope is resetting all the pro features back to their factory settings. I fixed this in version 2.5.1 which should be available for you within 24-48 hours.
