Pianoscope's freeze function allows for even more input device accuracy. Therefore, I have created a new sensor, replacing the mic, that solves what I believe to be the biggest variance in tuning accuracy: acoustic jitter and interference. Small changes in mic placement can cause 1 cent tuning errors, while the new sensor is visually invariant and allows consistent and repeatable tuning string by string. My examples are using Pianoscope, of course. The indicator is much more steady and allows even better accuracy.
