New Introduction Video

I have created a new introductory video for pianoscope. In it, I talk about my motivation for developing the app and demonstrate some basic functions: Setting up a new tuning, measuring the inharmonicity, floating the pitch, tuning with the red indicator, consistently tuning after the attack with the gray freeze indicator, displaying and filtering partials and the tone generator.

Great introductory video, Frank! I think it covers the basics and favorite features nicely. I'd love to see one on the pitch raise function as well, particularly since this is how I use Pianoscope on a day to day basis and it builds on a lot of these basics.

Great video, Frank. Only for the unisons - even the Pianoscope can't tune each string individually correctly in the high notes - if I check the whole unison, it will be low in most cases. I solve this by tuning two strings in unison at once.
I'm still having a bit of a problem with the tuning curve and haven't found a way to change it. Yesterday I sent you a recording of D282 tuned by ear - very quickly. I tried all the tuning styles to match the curve - the D282 tuning and couldn't find any and adjusting the interval ratios didn't help. It was even worse. I couldn't even find a temperament that matched the tuning. It is important for me to compare: f3-a3 -- f3-a4, f#3-a#3 -- f#3-a#4, ....... etc. Both upwards and downwards.

Submitted file - have you looked at it yet? Analyzed? How to adjust the interval ratios to match the recording?

MilanDka Thanks, I got your D282 file per e-mail. I am currently working on improving the tuning curves for pianoscope v3.0. I've tested the new algorithm with your D282 file and it looks very good with it.
