I tried to activate the multiple mics feature today. It’s grayed out on my iPhone 14 Pro.

JBrasell Using multiple mics on an iPhone is a feature which is not documented by Apple, so I am currently not sure on which devices this is working. I gray out the button if iOS does not give me access.
I know it is working on my iPhone 13 Pro and my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and on my M1 iPad Pro. Could everybody here in the forum who positively tested this feature tell us which device you are using?

Frank Illenberger I just noticed that I also can’t change my Audio Input Level.

I was wondering if there is a setting that I need to enable or disable. You specifically mentioned iPhone 14 Pro as having multiple mics. And you say it works on a 13 pro? I should be able to get it to work on mine, Then again I have that indexing problem too, so I’m not sure what’s up.

JBrasell I've heard from another iPhone 14 Pro user that he also is not able to use multiple mics. So I suspect, it is a general limitation on this model that iOS does not allow access to multiple mics even though the device has them. As I don't own an iPhone 14 Pro, I cannot verify this myself right now. This most certainly has nothing to do with document indexing. But I will try to get access to an iPhone 14 Pro and examine what is going on.

I have an iPhone 16 pro. Multiple microphones and searching working properly

JBrasell This is normal. Not all Apple devices support adjusting audio level.

Nope, and bluetooth is off. I haven’t tried using bluetooth earbuds or wired earbuds. Was going to experiment with passthrough today.
