I don’t think voice control would help me at all. Works fine as it is.
Not sure how to explain chromatic up and down any better but I’ll try. Setting pianoscope to A0 and chromatic to up and down tuning A0 is fine but tuning A#0 the display doesn’t change. I believe it will start working about an octave higher. It really doesn’t matter that much as entire range is very good until about C6 when sometimes the octave is wrong and I then set it to chromatic up and down for the rest of the tuning. I only noticed this when doing a second pass after a pitch raise and leaving setting to chromatic up and down having tapped the display to A0.

This is what happens if you have a piano that is mis-calibrated or not calibrated at all for inharmonicity. At least that's how I saw it.
I don't have a problem with bass tones, but with tones in the treble, where I tune for example D#7 and Pianoscope jumps between D#7 and D#6. It makes me about 10 notes on each piano.

Rick Thanks for explaining it in more detail. Does pianoscope react to the A#0 if you set the key detection to "Entire Range"?

Frank Illenberger I was thinking about perhaps adding voice commands for switching to the next note so that you don't even have to touch the tuning device when chip tuning.

I have an AirTurn Bluetooth pedal I use with my iPad to turn sheet music pages in Forscore. Would it be possible to go up or down chromatically with a bluetooth device?

Kris I don't know these devices. But it would probably work. But I guess the voice commands would be a more elegant solution. What do you think?

I definitely like the option and try keep my left hand on the key and right hand on the lever as much as possible as to not slow down. The less I have to touch my iPhone/iPad the better.

I did figure out how to program the Airturn Bluetooth pedal to change notes in Pianoscope. You first have to download the Airturn Manager app. Then have to change it to mode 2 on the pedal (out of 6 modes you can choose from)

Kris How did you get pianoscope to react to the messages from the Airturn pedal?

This video from AirTurn explains how to customize the pedal but I’d be happy to help anyone else. I just played around with it until I figured it out. It took about 20 min.

There is a section in Airturn with audio commands like on a CD player: play, stop, etc. I used the commands Next Track and Previous Track to go up or down chromatically.
