Subscription vs. standard vs. pro

Can we switch back and forth between the standard basic version and the monthly pro subscription? I have the basic version and would like to use the pitch raise feature now and then. I don’t need the other pro features. If I bought the monthly subscription to do pitch raises in March, say, if I later cancelled that, would I still have the basic version. (Are these terms spelled out somewhere in the manual or the Apple store?)

OldMike Yes, if you have the standard version, you can add the pro subscription, and if you cancel it and your last paid-for month has expired, it falls back to the standard version. I have not explicitly stated this in the manual, but it is a good idea to add this case.

Can someone purchase the standard version and later upgrade to the pro version? How would that work?

Ted Yes. If you have purchased the standard version, the In-App purchases panel will offer you an option to upgrade to the pro version by paying the price difference between the versions. If you only need pro features from time to time, you can also add a monthly pro subscription and cancel it whenever you want. The app will then fall back to the standard features if the last paid-for month has expired.
